The Ballarò Cooperative Society was founded in September 2005 following an experience gained as a Student Association operating at the University of Palermo. The spirit that has distinguished the association has been marked by cooperation between university students, who have combined their skills to create forms of activities that could create development and offer employment to young graduates.
The main activity carried out today by the Cooperative concerns the tourism sector and in particular the management of accommodation facilities. To date, the Cooperativa Ballarò has 14 members and numerous collaborators, engaged daily in the management of 5 accommodation facilities in two different Italian regions.
